You are encouraged to submit abstracts for oral papers and or posters, please state if you think your presentation would work well in workshop format. Please read the instructions prior to submitting your abstract.

Instructions for abstracts

Abstract titles should be brief and reflect the content of the abstract. The abstract must not exceed 300 words (not including the title and key words). All correspondence will be with the presenting author. Abstracts should be structured to include:

  • An introductory sentence including the purpose of the presentation
  • A brief description of the project; in case of pertinent research the methods adopted
  • A summary of new, unpublished data and/or other relevant facts and solutions
  • Only standard abbreviations should be used and kept to a minimum

Publication of Abstracts

All abstracts will be peer reviewed by members of the scientific committee and those accepted will be published in the programme and abstract booklet. Delegates are encouraged to submit a paper based on their presentation to the Journal of Cancer Education, the official Journal of the American & European Associations for Cancer Education (AACE & EACE). Please prepare the manuscript in accordance with the guidelines for contributors in the Journal of Cancer Education.
