37th Annual Scientific Meeting
April 16 — 18th, 2026
Piaget
Lisboa, Portugal

Welcome

The vibrant city of Lisbon provides an exceptional backdrop for the 37th Annual Scientific Meeting of the European Association for Cancer Education (EACE), hosted by Piaget. This year’s theme, “Integrating Precision Strategies in Cancer Education: from Personalized Prevention to Personalized Care,” underscores our collective commitment to fostering cancer education that is individualized, evidence-based, equitable, and fully aligned with the rapidly evolving landscape of precision oncology.

Over the course of three days, you will engage with international experts, emerging researchers, dedicated educators, clinicians, and patient advocates. Together, we will explore essential and timely topics—including precision prevention, genomic literacy, data-informed teaching, AI-enabled learning tools, culturally sensitive approaches to personalized care, and the vital contributions of patients and communities in co-designing educational pathways.

Whether you join us as a researcher, student, clinician, educator, policymaker, or advocate, we hope this meeting will spark new ideas, foster meaningful dialogue, strengthen collaborations, and inspire impactful initiatives that advance precision-focused cancer education.

About Almada

Directly across the Tagus River lies Almada, an important urban municipality forming the southern counterpart to Lisbon. Almada is known for its dramatic riverfront views, its role as a key residential and economic area within the metropolitan region, and its cultural landmarks—most notably the iconic Cristo Rei statue. Historically part of the Setúbal District, Almada has long maintained close social and economic ties with Lisbon, with both cities connected by the 25 de Abril Bridge, ferry routes, and a strong shared urban identity.
